AVI invites young unemployed people to apply for this Internships Programme. The AVI-Graduate Programme incorporates a holistic experience of mentorship, practical exposure and technical, leadership and business development opportunities. As one of our Graduates, you will be exposed to a host of diverse corporate situations spanning key improvement projects, CSI Initiatives, skills training and behavioural development. What you will be doing:
- Cost management and standard costing methodology applied to products that take longer than 12 months to manufacture/ grow.
- Preparation and adherence to group reporting requirements per head office deadlines.
- Assist with the preparation and modelling of budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Assist with the accurate allocation and classification of production and non-production costs and analysis of usage by resources.
- Preparation, implementation and rollout of financial reporting templates that are accurate and interactive.
- Assist with the management of the capital expenditure budget by supporting all business units with the appropriate procurement governance, compliance and reporting requirements
- Assist with accounting, reporting and compliance with VAT and Income Tax Acts
- Commodity exposure accounting and reporting as well as related analysis and controls
What you will need to be considered:
Qualifications:
- Com in Financial Accounting
- A minimum average of 60% in your final year
Additional Requirements:
- Able to work in Gansbaai a beautiful coastal town near Hermanus in the Western Cape
