Eskom Learnership Programme 2022
Eskom invites unemployed young people to be part of this Eskom learnership program. Eskom Learnership forms part of the National Skills Development Strategy. The aim of this learnership is give young talented individuals an opportunity that will help and prepare them for their future careers. With these Learnerships candidates will gain valuable knowledge and skills within their sector. Successful candidates may be given a permanent contract of employment as a result poverty and unemployment rate will decline.
Eskom Learnership Program:Basic Requirements
There are certain requirements for being accepted into these learnerships:
Minimum Requirements
- Candidates must be a permanent South African citizen
- Applicants must in possession of a Matric certificate with:
- English symbol E or level 3 and above
- Mathematics symbol E or level 3 and above
- Science symbol E or level 3 and above
OR
- N3/NCV level 4 Engineering subjects with:
- English symbol E or level 3 and above
- Mathematics symbol E or level 3 and above
- Science symbol E or level 3 and above
Selection Tools
The following selection tools will be used in selecting suitable applicants for the learnerships:
- Background checks/integrity assessments
- Curiosity Test
- Interview
- Lego
- Medical Assessments
- Nuts and Bolts
- Psychometric assessments (optional)
Candidates must meet all the requirements set out by Eskom before they apply. The number of candidates that will be selected to be part of this program depends on opportunities available that available each year.
Candidates will be contacted if their application was received. If you do not hear anything from Eskom 3 months after the closing date, you may consider your application unsuccessful.
Application Process
In order to apply for the Learnership, you must complete an application form in your own handwriting.
- You can get the Application for Admission to a Learnership form from the Eskom website. A direct link to download it will be included in all advertisements for Eskom learnerships.
- The Eskom website is www.eskom.co.za
- Candidates should specify the learnership post they are applying for.
- Candidates must ensure that their application forms are signed
- All necessary documents must be certified and not older than 3 months
Kindly take into account that:
- Application forms that are late or unsigned will not be considered
- Photocopied forms will not be considered
- Faxed or emailed forms will not be considered
Completed application forms with all necessary attached documents must be submitted as per instructions on the particular learnership information or application form.
