The ICASA Internship Development Programme is a twenty-four (24) months intensive development programme commencing in 2023.
This programme provides anopportunity for qualified graduates to gain valuable practical working experience andtheoretical training while earning a salary, enabling them to build the foundation fora successful career in the Information and Communications Technology Industry.
A supporting structure of coaches will guide our Graduates through their training byproviding help for challenges at work. The Graduates’ performance will be reviewedon an ongoing basis and assistance will be provided throughout the programme aswell as career guidance for future endeavors.
The Graduate intake at ICASA is impacted by a number of variables which includeboth the South African skills market and the organisation’s skills needs.
ICASA Internship Requirements:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must have completed a three (3)or four (4) degree in:
- Computer Science / IT / Engineering, Strategic Management, Monitoring and Evaluation or Project Management from a recognised institution of
- Higher Learning.
- Communication/Multimedia, Journalism or Law from a recognized institute of Higher Learning
- BSc / BTech Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Bachelor of Laws from a recognised institution of Higher Learning
- CCC: Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) or BA Law or BCom Law from a recognised institute of Higher Learning
- North West: Degree in either Administration, Communications or Management Sciences from a recognised institute of Higher Learning ● Proficient with MS Office ● Valid driver’s license
- Information Technology or related fields from a recognised institution of Higher Learning
- Accounting/Auditing, BSc – Computer Science (IT), or Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Auditing and or BCom with IT from a recognized institute of Higher Learning
- Research Analysis: Communications, Social Sciences, Law, Economics/Statistics/Finance from a recognized institution of Higher Learning.
- HR: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resources/Industrial Psychology or Organisational Development from a recognised institution of Higher Learning
- Limpopo: BSc or Btech or bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic or Information Engineering from a recognized institute of Higher Learning ● Proficient with MS Office ● Valid driver’s license
- Finance: BCom in Accounting or degree in Supply Chain Management from a recognised institution of Higher Learning
- Engineering: BEng or BSc (Eng) or BTech Degree in Electrical (light current)/Electronic Engineering from a recognised institution of Higher Learning.
- Degree in either Administration, Communications or Management Sciences from a recognised institute of Higher Learning ● Proficient with MS Office ● Valid driver’s license
- Business Management/Public Administration (NQF 7) or equivalent from a recognised institution of Higher Learning

Selection Process:
- Our recruitment team will review all applications
- Applicants who meet requirements will be invited for an interview
- Applicants who are successful at the interview stage, may be required to complete psychometric assessments
- Successful candidates will be accepted into ICASA’s Graduate Development Programme and given a twenty-four (24) month contract
- Candidates who have participated in a similar programme will not be considered
