Ekurhuleni Metro Police Learnership Program:Basic Requirements

To be eligible for one of the learnerships provided in the fields as mentioned, or any other available field made available, candidates must adhere to all requirements as stipulated by the Ekurhuleni offices.

Candidates will require the following:

  • Candidates must be a permanent South African Citizen
  • Applicants must be in possession of a Matric Certificate
  • All candidates must hold a degree or certification within field of application (where applicable)
  • Candidates must be proficient in English
  • All Applicants must be computer literate (where applicable)
  • Candidates must be in possession of a Valid South African ID
  • Applicants must have a Valid South Africa’ Drivers license
  • Applicants must have a clear criminal record
  • All candidate must be a resident within one of the areas as stipulated
  • Candidates must not have previous work experience

These Learnership programs usually takes a period of twelve month. Candidates who were previously disadvantaged are encouraged to apply for example women and disabled people. Interested candidates must meet all requirements set out by the Ekurhuleni Metro Police Municipality otherwise their applications will not be taken into consideration.
