The Amathuba learnership program is run and operated by the Old Mutual Group which is one of the largest financial institutes in South Africa. Old Mutual Group every year invites young talented individuals to become part of this initiative. They provide these learnerships to certain group of people who were previously disadvantaged. Candidates must be eager to learn more about these learnerships. With these learnerships candidates will gain valuable experience and skills that will help them in their workplace. therefore interested candidates are encouraged to apply however they need to meet all the requirements stipulated by the Company.
Amathuba Learnership Program Available
The Amathuba learnership is one of the learnerships that are offered by the Old Mutual Group. Successful candidates will receive a Level 4 Wealth Management Qualification. This program usually takes a period of twelve month. Successful candidates will start their learnership in the beginning of the year.
Basic Requirements
Candidates must meet all the requirements set out by the company before they apply. All applicants must be aged 18 and 25. Candidates must be a permanent South African citizen. Only Applicants residing in Cape Town will be considered.
Other Requirements:
- Candidates must be in possession of a valid document
- Applicants must be currently unemployed
- Candidates must be in possession of a Matric certificate
- Applicants must have passed matric with English ? 50%, Maths Literacy ? 70% and
- Pure Maths at 50% or higher
- Candidates must also have passed their second official language with a 50% or higher mark

Late applications, incomplete or those missing documentation will not be considered. Once candidates are selected and a shortlist is formed those candidates will be contacted and asked to complete a written assessment and undergo an interview.
