Lonmin was part of a British platinum mining group, and they first started mining in the bushveld of South Africa. It is still known as London Office their Operational Headquarters is situated in Johannesburg, South Africa. Their main mining concerns are found in Marikana and Limpopo. Lonmin Mine Learnership:Basic Requirements

Candidates must provide a detailed curriculum vitae and any other information they feel may be important to their applications. Copies of all necessary documents must be certified and not older than three months for example ID documentation and proof of address. All applicants must be a permanent South African citizens.

Most candidates will also be required to have the following:

  • All applicants must be possession of a Matric certificate
  • Candidates must have passed Mathematics and Science with pass rate on Standard Grade 60% or higher and on Higher Grade 50% or higher
