Shortlisted candidates must meet all the requirements set out by the South African Reserve Bank. Successful candidates may be offered a permanent contract of employment. SA Reserve Bank Learnership Program:Basic Requirements
SA Reserve Bank invites young talented graduates to apply for this initiative, however they must ensure that they meet all requirements set out by the SARB. Applicants who do not meet all the stipulated requirements their applications will not be taken into account. Below are some of the basic requirements.
Basic requirements:
- Candidates must be a permanent South African citizen
- All applicants must be in possession of a valid Matric certificate
- Candidate must not hold a dual citizenship
- Candidates must hold a diploma or degree within the field of application
Applicants must also keep in mind that the selection process will include a security check, reference check and also a psychometric assessment.

Once selected Applicants must complete there twelve month period of training, they will be issued a certificate of competency and may also be offered full-time employment. This program is a great honor and gives selected individuals a great stepping stone in life. The SARB receives thousands of entries each year, however, they can only accommodate a selected few. If you have not had any response from the SARB within a maximum period of 3 months after the closing of applications, you may assume your application unsuccessful.

Closing dates will be advertised with open learnerships. Individuals must ensure they read the advertisement for open learnerships carefully, adhere to all stipulations and submit applications on time.
Candidates must make sure that all fields of the application are completed in full and the application form is signed by the person applying. unsigned Application forms will not be considered. All references and contact detail must be current. Copies of all necessary documents must be certified and not older than three months.
